Quest Series events are created by the same team that created ADV Spirit.
After years of riding across Europe and into parts of Africa, one thing still drives us: the thrill of discovering new places, new routes and new stories.
That’s exactly why we created Quest Series – to open up Adventure Enduro and off-road riding to a much wider community. It’s built for riders setting out on their very first big adventure, as well as seasoned explorers who no longer need a rally clock to feel the challenge.
At its heart, it’s about the ride itself: exploring new landscapes, tracking down hidden corners, sharing the trail with your mates, meeting the locals and enjoying the local cuisine along the way.
Quest Series is the perfect event for everyone who has NO interest in high-speed, rally-style racing, but still wants to put their own and their team’s endurance, orientation and navigation skills to the test.
And we do it all with respect: for the nature we ride through, the protected trails we explore, and the local communities that welcome us along the way.
Roman and Tomaž are passionate motorcyclists, both with a wealth of off-road experience behind them.
Roman built his in rally races across Europe, clocking up more than 150,000 kilometers of off-road riding through the remote corners of Europe and the African Sahara.
Tomaž is the owner and manager of the MyTeam Motocross school – a coach, an organizer of off-road camps and a daily off-road rider himself.
What they share is a genuine love for passing on their knowledge to fellow riders and introducing Adventure Enduro to everyone eager to discover it.

Quest Series & ADV Spirit Co-founder | Marketing Director
Tomaž’s love for motorcycles goes back 35 years, when he sat on Tomos for the first time as a small child. From then on, motorcycles became part of his growing up, unfulfilled wishes and later also his business story.
In his childhood years, the desire to train motocross and compete remained just a desire, so he rode every motorcycle he could get his hands on. From automatic to atx, motocross bikes and with a passed motorcycle licence at the age of 18, also on the road. After the birth of his children, he returned to where he started – to off road.
A 1-week ride with enduro motorcycles in Ibiza gave him the idea and a few years later MyTeam Motocross was created, which today is an established brand, focused mainly on working with beginners, organized motocross camps and also has its own competition team that competes at home and abroad.
With Roman he start discovering the beauties of near and far terrains with Adventure Enduro bikes, while in the background he will take care of marketing, organization and implementation.
Safety Director and coordinator
Aljaž Kolenc has been passionate about motorcycles and cars since childhood, a spark that grew into a lifelong love for overlanding and off-road adventures. He feels most at home on the road (or far off it), where the journey often matters more than the destination.
With countless kilometers across the Balkans from rugged mountain passes to quiet coastal tracks. Aljaž values not just the drive and nature, but the freedom, the landscapes, and the people he meets along the way.
As Safety Director and Coordinator, he oversees participant tracking via Owaka, ensuring every journey is both enjoyable and secure.
At his core Aljaž is an explorer who thrives on the outdoors, meaningful connections, and sharing the adventure with good company.
Service area mechanic
With a lifelong passion for motorcycles, he has built his career around precision, reliability, and performance.
As a mechanic with Dakar Rally project experience, he has extensive expertise in motorcycle electrical systems, diagnostics, and rally equipment. He contributed to the preparation of a rally motorcycle for the Dakar Rally in 2019 and 2020. In 2019, he served as the assistance mechanic for Roman Bale during Rally Albania, providing technical support in demanding rally conditions.
His commitment to technical excellence and attention to detail has earned him a reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality solutions for both road and competition motorcycles.
Camp Setup & Venue Coordinator
Tim’s connection to motorcycles began at the age of 7, and over the years that passion evolved into serious competition, accumulating strong results at the national level in both motocross and cross-country disciplines. Growing up within the MyTeam Motocross family gave him a deep understanding of what it takes to build something meaningful around riding, not just participate in it.
Since the founding of ADV Spirit, he has shifted his focus toward adventure riding and heavier ADV machinery, embracing the exploratory spirit that defines the Quest Series ethos.
At events, he brings that same precision and commitment off the bike, taking charge of camp setup and venue preparation to ensure every location runs smoothly from the ground up.
Service area mechanic
Matej is a mechanical engineer, enduro and cross-country rider with a lifelong passion for motorcycles. His riding journey started with adventure bikes before moving into hard enduro and rally racing, including the Bosnia Rally in 2018 and Rally Albania in 2019, where he finished on a self-built rally bike based on a 2006 KTM EXC 450.
A hobby mechanic and suspension tuning enthusiast, he enjoys understanding, setting up and improving motorcycles as much as riding them. At Quest Series, he brings his racing experience, technical knowledge and a practical approach to keeping bikes working when the going gets tough.
